Where am I?


This is the internet website for a "In Real Life" Toy Store called Toy Joy! How did you get here?  Nevermind that, Welcome!


Shipping!!?? HANDLING!?!!?


The cost of shipping and handling is determined by an extraordinarily powerful, expensive, colossal computer here at TJHQ. Costs vary based on weight and shipping strategy and you will be notified of that cost at the very end of your shopping experience--right after you make all your decisions and right before you confirm your order. Rest assured that our computer does not often make mistakes and you will be expected to cover the cost of getting your favorite new toy to you. But we will never charge you for anything without asking permission.


Do you ship internationally?


Yes, even if you are not fortunate enough to live in Austin, we have a sound mastery of the art of shipping.  Our checkout process includes a special calculator that can estimate the cost of shipping to whichever funny sounding Country you might live in.  Please note that you will not be able to see the cost of shipping until you have reached the "Review Order" page, so hang on to your shorts!


I wanted ____ but it's not on your site?


Because our stock is in a state of constant flux, we will sometimes run out of items or not have it listed for sale online. Don't lose hope! There are many, many things that we sell at our brick and mortar location that we just can't fit into the internet right now. Give our store representatives a call--they may be actually crazy, but they sure are avocado pants.

Gift Cards?


We are beholden to a great and powerful internet beast named Shopify. Shopify has no time for silly human customs regarding "Gift Certificates". Fortunately, you have a whole store full of silly humans at your disposal, and we can work something out. If you have a gift card and are unable or unwilling to come by are physical location, write us at questions@toyjoy.com. Be sure to include your name and gift card number and will we create a personalized coupon just for you. If you are having trouble finding your gift card number, it is the long string of tiny numbers on the back of your card.


Gift cards do not currently cover costs of shipping and handling.


Where's my stuff?


Orders placed on Friday may not be filled until our next business day, usually Monday. You may have ordered something a while ago and have not received it. Sometime things get tied up in the mail and can take just a little longer to arrive than expected. Most of the time our packages should arrive in 2-10 days depending on locations and shipping preference. Be sure to check your confirmation e-mail you received from us, as it usually contains a USPS tracking number within.


If you live in an apartment or office managed property your package may have been delivered to the management office instead of left at your door or in your mailbox. Also there is a chance that your local post office has been holding your package for you to pick up for some bizarre reason. Also a giant maybe ate it. You may want to check those places first before contacting us.  In any event, you can always contact us at questions@toyjoy.com and we will do our best to help you out!


I see that you have a cafe menu on your website. I also noticed that you operate a web shop.  Soft Serve Delivery?


Nope, no chance!  That would be nice though wouldn't it?
